1.6.0 Minor Enhancements and Incorrect Functionality Fixes

Enhancements

    To ensure security, the AutoComplete feature has been disabled for the password field.

    Added a notification message when using the “Forgot Your Password” feature.  A message will now confirm that the request has been submitted.

    Clarified the notification message when a user suspends their account.  The message now advises users to use the “Forgot Your Password” feature to reset their accounts.

    Added a refresh after printing a document in a submission or policy, allowing the newly generated document to be visible in the Documents/Forms panel without having to manually refresh the page.

    To save space, the Valid Until column has been hidden in the Submission/Policy List grid.  The column can be displayed by right-clicking on any column header, choosing Select Columns, then checking Valid Until.

    Four new policy details have been made available for use in triggers, calculated fields, and generated documents:

[[CreatedDate]] - The date the original submission was created in incomplete status.

[[FirstQuotedDate]] - The date of the first time the original submission was quoted.

[[LastQuotedDate]] - The date of the last time the current transaction was quoted.

[[BoundDate]] - The date that the current transaction was bound.

    Two new options have been added to the Rounding Style drop-down in the Master Cover - General Information page.  Always Up will round all values up, and Always Down will round all values down.  All rounding will be done to the point selected in the Rounding Precision field.

    When creating or managing option lists, the Type and Resource Type fields have been made mandatory.

When editing an option list that was created before this update, both fields will need to be selected before being able to save, if they have not already been selected.

If the field type is Static, and the field is not Correlated, then any resource type can be selected.  If the field type is Static, and the field is Correlated, then it can only be changed to the Custom resource type.  Attempting to select any other resource type will result in the loss of all options in the list.

    A new feature now allows the static labels in the system to be replaced with alternate terms to suit the preferences of individual licensees.

For example, the default labels use the term “Assureds” for the end clients.  In different regions, the term “Insureds” might be more common.  Your Oceanwide Representative can arrange to have this and other labels changed to match your companies preferred terms.

    Corrected server error when clicking on the premium link in a submission/policy.

    Corrected issue where reports would display zero values when custom Limit Types were used.

    Corrected issue where reports would display a zero value when a calculated field is defined as the “Insured Value” field.

    Corrected server error when generating a document with associated documents.

    Corrected issue where the Premium Details page would not default to the chosen Premium Currency.

    Corrected error when downloading the Word Ribbon plug-in.

    Corrected issue where the user would be brought to the bottom of the submission form after entering details into a grid, instead of being returned to the position of the grid itself.

Note:  All portals will need to be republished for this fix to be applied.

    Corrected issue where changing the Effective Date of a submission would not automatically update the Valid Until Date if the Valid Until Date field is hidden.

    Corrected issue where correlated fields and option lists were not working in grids.

    Corrected issue where text entered in the Rich Text editor fields were losing some formatting.

    Corrected issue where actions that changed the status of an endorsement would also change the status of the policy term.

    Corrected error where a Radio Button list would seem to have a selected value that was not a valid option.

    Corrected security right setting that restricted the Recalculate Quote button to higher-level accounts.

    Corrected error that occurred on Get Quote when the system tried to get rate driver information from an empty grid.

    Corrected issue where cancellation refunds were not being displayed properly.

    Corrected random issue where adding items to an option list would cause multiple instances of the new item when viewing the list on the submission form.

    Corrected sorting error where sequence numbers were sorted as text instead of numerical values in the item lists.  This did not affect the actual order that items would be displayed.

    Corrected error when trying to edit a Distributor Company that is currently attached to one or more master covers.

    Corrected inconsistent grid behavior under Internet Explorer 9.  With Compatibility Mode off, it would not be possible to add new rows using in-line editing grids.  With Compatibility Mode on, the grid page numbers would not appear.

Compatibility Mode should be turned on, and the page numbering will be shown.

Note:  It may be necessary to republish a portal if the page numbering still does not appear.

    Corrected random issue where the Size selection for a field would not save, or would revert back to Please Select.

    Corrected issue where a trigger applied to a tax or fee would not prevent the tax or fee from being applied.

    Added restraints to prevent the Bind button from being clicked again while the first attempt to bind is still being processed.
