The Quick Search tool has been added to the Main Menu. It provides a quick and convenient way to search for and navigate to various items in the system. These items include policies, clients, invoices and claims.
Search-text can be entered directly into the Quick Search drop down to initiate a system-wide search. Results will be displayed directly in the drop-down. Selecting a search result will navigate the user directly to the result’s corresponding page.
An optional search-category can be specified in the Quick Search Category drop down. This will narrow the focus of the search and display more results for that category.
Notes:
•A user must have the ViewTopMenu security right to use the Quick Search tool.
•A user must have the ViewSubmission security right to see the Policies search category and results.
•A user must have the ViewClaim security right to see the Claims search category and results.
•A user must have the ViewAssured security right to see the Clients search category and results.
•A user must have the ViewInvoice security right to see the Invoice search category and results.
•A portal’s colors and Skin will not affect the appearance of the Quick Search tool.
•Labels in Quick Search can be customized. For details on customizing labels, see the Custom Labels section.
