Review the template's activity such as which files have been imported, which files have been processed, and the status of the files associated to the template.

Viewing Template Activity

Why would I want to view the Template Activity?

To verify the details of the latest template or review previous versions.

Before Getting Started

  • You are assigned the Manage Uplink & Data Importer Templates security right.
  • You have already accessed Data Importer from the Administration menu.

Steps

  1. From the main menu navigate to the Template List. The Template List is displayed.

  2. Click the View Details link to view the Template details. The Template page is displayed.

  3. Click Activity from the Menu widget on the left. The Activity page is displayed.

    Some columns have been hidden.

Result

You can view the template's activity.

Viewing Imported Files

In the Activity review section, users can download copies of the Imported File column, in Excel format.

Clicking on the link in the Imported File column automatically triggers a file download of the Excel document. This can be useful when you want to edit an existing template and re-upload the new version.

Viewing Processed Files

In the Activity review section, users can view details of the Processed File column.

Click the View Details link in the Processed File column displays the Processed File details window.

Users can view the details of the processed file such as the File Name, the date the file was created, and an option to download it.
