2.2.4 Core Enhancements

Master and View Grids

Grids have been enhanced to allow multiple grids sharing data to appear throughout the workflow.

When viewing a grid, a new panel has been added called View Grids.  Any grid that has at least one View Grid is considered a Master Grid.  Multiple View Grids can be created, with each one containing a different subset of the fields in the master grid.  Any changes to the data is saved to the master grid, even if the master is hidden (the master must be included in the workflow).  Those changes will be visible in all view grids that include the updated fields.

For more details on configuring grids, please see the Managing Panels section of the Bridge User Guide - Product Design.

Filtering and Searching Placeholders in the Oceanwide Word Ribbon

The Oceanwide Word Ribbon has been enhanced to provide two new ways to insert placeholders into document templates.

The Workflow Explorer is a pop-up window containing all placeholders in expandable groups.  The window can be moved and resized, and even placed beside the document window for easy access.

The Field Lookup and Trigger Lookup groups present dropdown lists displaying the placeholders and their associated panels or system groups.  Each list can be filtered by entering text before opening the list, and the results can be searched by entering text once the list is open.
